Moira Hazel - Profile

Having trained at Dartington College of Arts, Moira then started painting again in Harwich encouraged by a flourishing artistic community. She now works in Suffolk and exhibits in Suffolk, Norfok, Essex and Cambridgeshire. She paints and sketches, and is also an occasional Garden Designer.

She studies landscapes, still lifes and occasionally portraits, in oils, oil pastels, acrylics and watercolours. She works from sketches to emphasize the use of colour, pattern and texture. She aims to create bold, bright, stimulating images that really attract and interest.

She has exhibited in Suffolk Open Studios, Long Melford, Stow, Norwich, Colchester, Halstead, Bury St Edmunds, Snape (where she was Artist of the Month), Epping, Cley on Sea, Beccles, Ipswich, Southwold, Huntingdon, Harpenden, Holkham, King's Lynn; and has had work published by De Montfort Fine Art and Pauntley Press.
